About the Primary Instructor
John R. Tiffany is the principal instructor for johnrtiffanyLLC. He is founder of the Data Driven Leadership Master Black Belt program for Sodexo North America Business Improvement and Growth Support. In that position, he identified, prioritized, and led projects to reduce process waste and improve quality of healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, supply, and management services. He worked with teams to solve complex problems, developed and enacted strategic plans, and established a culture of continuous improvement. He envisioned Data Driven Leadership as a tool to develop and train future leaders.
Before joining Sodexo, John worked as a Lead Six Sigma Expert and as a Senior Program Manager with Raytheon Company. He led projects in the USA, UK, Norway, and Brazil. He was a scientist and inventor, a member of the Hughes Aircraft Company "Think Tank," and team leader developing advanced technology weapons system designs for missile launch control systems and unmanned aerial vehicles. Prior to Raytheon, he served as an Army Strategic Intelligence Officer, Research and Development Officer, and Special Operations Forces Officer.
